About Us

Rum Creek Golf is located at the intersection of Flippen Road and St. Ives Court along Rum Creek in Stockbridge, Georgia and opened for business on July 1st 2002.

Currently a 32-acre golf facility with driving range and 1250 yard 9-hole par 3 golf course, the location features an interesting past.

The region, as evidenced by numerous artifacts found on the land, was originally inhabited by native Indians who used the land for hunting and gathering.

During the 18th and 19th centuries the fertile soil along Rum Creek was cultivated with cane used for the production of molasses and rum - hence the name Rum Creek.

More recently the property served as crop land for the Broder dairy farm operation. Today the site is the home of Henry County's only fully lighted golf facility owned and operated by Hans M. Broder, Jr. and Christopher and Lisa Fisk.
